Korean Actors

Rather than suggesting to watch shows because of the exceptional actresses that star in them, this week I am going to name some really great Korean actors.

The most famous Korean actor that is comparable to Brad Pitt is Won Bin. Won Bin is incredibly famous for his naturally stunning good looks. Surprisingly, Won Bin has only been in very few productions. The most popular film Won Bin starred in was The Man From Nowhere. An awesome action film, The Man From Nowhere is about a quiet shop owner with an intense past that brings down a drug and organ trafficking ring to rescue a little girl whose his only friend.

Some actors that are famous to both Korean and American Kdrama fans includes Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin, and Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Jong Suk.

Lee Min Ho starred in The Heirs which is about mean and rich high schoolers with complicated lives.

Kim Woo Bin stars in The Heirs, To The Beautiful You and The Technicians.

Kim Soo Hyun was recently in You Who Came From the Stars, which was a romantic comedy about an alien who must leave Earth, but has fallen in love.

Lee Jong Suk starred in Doctor Stranger which is about a man who tries to save his fiance and is trapped in North Korea for his surgeon skills.

Another actor that is great at changing roles and is very talented is Lee Min Ki. He starred in Monster and Shut Up and Let’s Go. Monster is a comedy horror movie that is will have you at the edge of your seats through the whole film.

There are also a few actors that are also Kpop stars and bring in lots of popularity for their skills in singing, dancing and acting. The most popular of these Kpop actors are Jung Yong Hwa, Choi Minho, and Choi Seung-Hyun.

Jung Yong Hwa is the lead singer of the Kpop band CNBlue and stars in many shows. Some of Jung Yong Hwa’s most recent shows include Marry Him If You Dare and The Three Musketeers. Marry Him If You Dare is a romantic comedy about a woman who comes from the future to tell her past self not to marry a certain man that will cause tragic events.

Choi Minho, or most commonly referred to as just Minho, is a singer in the Kpop group Shinee. Minho was greatly successful in his first show that recently came out, To the Beautiful You, and just came out with a new show called Because It’s the First Time. To the Beautiful You is a romantic comedy about a girl disguised as a boy in an all boys school to convince her idol to do high jump again. The new show, Because It’s the First Time, is about a group of college friends that hang out on a rooftop and slowly form a love triangle.

I highly recommend all of these actors and their shows for they are very skilled and entertaining to watch. So who do you find to be the most talented and what shows do you like by them?
