Korean dramas are always filled with many exciting plots and characters. The actors are always do a very good job of getting you into the show. Some very famous and talented actors will even play roles in American movies. By the end of an episode, you feel like you are family with some of the characters.

Most of the Kdramas are romantic comedies. The shows find the perfect balance of the drama and romance. Rather than a sappy soap opera, the Kdramas are like an intriguing movie for each episode.

Many people are realizing just how hooked you can become on Kdramas. Fans find themselves binge watching series for multiple hours. Each episode is about an hour and there are typically 16 to 26 episodes. These series usually don't have multiple seasons unless they are extremely popular.

There are multiple broadcasters and channels such as: SBS, MBC, and KBS1 and KBS2. SBS is known for their Kpop shows, such as Inkigayo, Strong Heart and Kpop Star. Kpop Star is very similar to American Idol. They also created many iconic dramas such as the romantic comedy Secret Garden.

KBS is known for the classic Kdrama, Boys Over Flowers. Anyone who has watched Kdramas, knows that this classic is a must see.

MBC also has Kpop shows such as M Countdown and Music Core. Their most well know Kdrama includes Empress Ki.

If you are looking for the best way to access Korean dramas, but have no idea where to start, then you should know there are numerous online websites that will provide many shows.

You may be surprised to know that Netflix and Hulu have Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese dramas and movies. If you don’t have a membership, both Netflix and Hulu have free trials or allow you access but have commercials.

Netflix is a great start for Korean dramas, because a majority of the shows they provide are classics or are great for beginners. Hulu is the best source for new and modern dramas. Another great site is Ondemand Korea. This site only has Korean shows, but it stays up to date.

For access to a greater range of Asian shows and movies, Dramafever is really great. Dramafever has Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese dramas and movies. Korean dramas are the most popular, so you will find a much greater selection of those on Dramafever.

Dramafever will also provide shows that are so new, they are not finished. So you can watch new shows as if you are in Korea waiting for the next episode. With a reasonably priced membership, you get exclusive movies and dramas, but Dramafever is still free with commercials for those who don't mind missing out. Memberships to these sites are worth it if you plan to watch these shows frequently.
